Effective September 1, 2022, Greenwood CPW will begin charging deposits for new accounts, as well as a 1.5% late fee to past due balances.
What this means:
· Customers will have a grace period of 1 day after the due date printed on their bill.
· On the second business day after the due date, the customer will receive an automated phone call to let them know their account is past due.
· At the time of the phone call, a fee of 1.5% of the total past due balance will be applied to the customer’s account.
· The deposit amount will be determined according to the level of services provided and the results of a utility credit assessment from a third party.
